How to Measure

How to ensure your shirt is the right size for you - The White Shirt Haberdasher

Collar

Wrap the tape measure around the base of your neck, allowing two fingers to be able to slip comfortably between
your throat and the tape measure.
This gives you your correct collar size.

Sleeve length

Lay one of your favourite shirts, button side down on a flat surface,
take a tape measure starting from the middle of the back of your collar, to the point of the shoulder,
down the sleeve to your wrist.  (A double cuff would need to be folded to get your correct sleeve length)

Alternatively get an assistant to help measure you.
Take the tape measure from the middle of the back of your collar to the point of the shoulder, all the way down the sleeve,
(elbow slightly bent,) to your wrist where you would like the cuff to rest.

Ladies’ measure guide

We recommend that you measure your actual body measurements, instead of measuring over your clothes.

Make sure you measure yourself around the fullest part of your bust, taking care to ensure that the tape measure is level, especially around the back.

The fit of all clothing will vary slightly depending on how the garment is cut and what type of fabrics is used.
